The Great Wave off Kanagawa
The Great Wave off Kanagawa (Japanese: 神奈川沖浪裏, Hepburn: Kanagawa-okiNami Ura, lit. “Under the Wave off Kanagawa”), also known as The Great Waveor simply The Wave, is a woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. It was published sometime between 1829 and 1833 in the late Edo period as thefirst print in Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. The imagedepicts an enormous wave threatening three boats off the coast in Sagami Bay(Kanagawa Prefecture) while Mount Fuji rises in the background. Sometimesassumed to be a tsunami, the wave is more likely to be a large rogue wave.
It is Hokusai's most famous work and is often considered the most recognizablework of Japanese art in the world.

Dye-sublimation printing
Dye-sublimation printing (or dye-sub printing) is a computer printing techniquewhich uses heat to transfer dye onto materials such as a plastic, card, paper,or fabric. The sublimation name was first applied because the dye was consideredto make the transition between the solid and gas states without going through aliquid stage. This understanding of the process was later shown to be incorrect,as there is some liquefying of the dye. Since then, the proper name for theprocess has become known as dye-diffusion, though this technically-correct termhas not supplanted the original name. Many consumer and professionaldye-sublimation printers are designed and used for producing photographicprints, ID cards, clothing, and more.

Unlike printing, this keycap type is producedwhen two layers of plastic are moulded into each other. No printing isnecessary. The end result is a key legend which will never fade or chip off. ABSkeys will develop a shine over time, but PBT keys will retain their texture evenafter heavy use.
