You are the Viceroy – a leader charged by the Scorched Queen to reclaimthe wilderness and discover lost riches for the Smoldering City,civilization’s last bastion against the Blightstorm that destroyed the oldworld. Unlike most survival city builders where your focus is on a single city,in Against the Storm you must build a vast, prosperous network of settlementspopulated by diverse fantasy races, each with their own specializationsand needs.

But the wilderness holds many hidden dangers, and never-ending storms willbatter your population into submission. If your settlements should fall, thenthe expedition may end – but not the game. Against the Storm is a roguelitecity builder, meaning you will carry forward the resources, upgrades, andexperience of your past expeditions each time you set off for a new journey intothe wild.

• Manage a diverse population of villagers – Beavers and lizards standalongside humans and harpies in the struggle to survive. Utilize eachgroup’s strengths as you balance varying needs, from housing and culinarypreferences to taste in luxuries and recreation. Manufacture raincoats, brewale, and bake pies to boost morale in the face of the oppressive hostility ofthe forest.
• City Builder meets Roguelite – Experience core city builder gameplayenhanced by roguelite replayability. Build new settlements and collect valuablemeta-progression resources to upgrade the Smoldering City. RecurringBlightstorms pose an inevitable threat to settlements, but they also reshape theworld and open new opportunities for growth.
• Never the same game twice – With hundreds of gameplay modifiers and5 distinct biomes, every city location presents unique challenges for even themost resourceful Viceroy. Adjust your strategy to changing weather conditionsand experiment with settlement “builds” — rosters of building blueprintsand perks that can help your society thrive or bring it to ruins. Mix and matchingredients to take advantage of the resources at hand. You never know whatwares the Trader will bring next year, and the forest hold treasures,resources… and ancient threats.
• Build an endless number of cities – Laying the foundations for a new cityis one of the most exciting moments in a city builder game. In Against theStorm, you’ll have the opportunity to repeatedly create new settlements, whilestill interacting and trading with previously established cities in agrowing world.

Delivery Rates

We charge a flat rate of $6 NZD per shipment, not including heavy and bulky goods. 

Please note we have a $56-$118 rate for shipping heavy and bulky goods like chairs and desks which will be calculated at checkout. 

Most orders are shipped using New Zealand Post and these parcels are shipped with no-signature required. For our heavy and bulky goods, these are shipped via Mainfreight with signature required.

We encourage you to track your delivery progress using NZ Post's Tracking tool and contact us if your delivery is overdue by more than these 5 working days after dispatch.
